The baby v-neck cardigan is perfect for when you need a quick and easy crochet project. It keeps my baby nice and cosy as the summer closes out and autumn draws in. I especially love how I can make one of these cardigans in just a few hours. The pattern includes directions for newborn, 0-6months and 6-12months.
I used two strands of double knit yarn held together throughout to make a nice thick and quick to make cardigan. Perfect for if you need to whip up a quick gift for someone or for if you don’t have long to spend crocheting. The pattern is beginner friendly, uses American terminology and features the double crochet stitch.
To make your own, you will need 5mm, 6mm and 7mm crochet hooks, double knit (light worsted) yarn, a tape measure, scissors, a yarn needle and 3 x 15-20mm buttons.

This stocking was a quick gift each for my boys, and I got to fill it with more small gifts aswell!
To make your own, you will need a 9mm crochet hook, red and white chunky yarn, scissors and a yarn needle.
Christmas Stocking (Free Crochet Pattern)
With a 9mm hook and two strands of white chunky yarn held together –
1. Make a magic loop, ch1, work 10hdcs in loop, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (10)
2. Ch1, turn, work 2hdcs in st at base of ch and each st around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (20)
3. Ch1, turn, hdc in st at base of ch and each st around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (20)
4. Change to two strands of red yarn, ch1, turn, hdc in st at base of ch and each st around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (20)
5-8. Ch1, turn, hdc in st at base of ch and each st around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (20)
9. Ch1, turn, hdc in st at base of ch and each st around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc, bind off (20)

11-13. Ch1, turn, hdc in st at base of ch and each st across (11)
14. Fold right sides of heel together then slip stitch the back opening shut, bind off and weave in ends
15. With wrong side of work facing, rejoin two strands of red yarn in the middle of the heel, ch1, hdc in st at base of ch and evenly around, join with slst in top of 1st hdc (20)

I have just recently finished designing this adorable baby fox hooded cardigan in newborn, made using two strands of double knit (number 3/light worsted) yarn held together and 6mm and 7mm crochet hooks.
I have written the pattern using US terminology and have included photo tutorials for some of the less common stitches. The pattern is worked in half double crochet stitch, is easy to follow and is suitable for beginners, although basic knowledge of crochet is needed.

This pattern has been a long time in the making and I am so happy that it is finally finished and tested so I can share it with you all. I think it turned out really cute. I love little frilly bonnets and used to always dress my daughters in them when they were small. They really complete an outfit and look so adorable.
With this pattern, you will learn how to make a frilly baby bonnet to fit ages from newborn to 12 months, or head circumferences from approximately 14″ to 18″. The pattern is written in English, uses American terminology and features the single crochet stitch, half double crochet stitch, double crochet stitch and puff stitch. You all know how much I love putting bear ears on things I make, but with Easter coming up, I wanted to try something new. This Baby Bunny Hoodie is what I came up with. How cute is this, I think its egg-cellent!

When my girls were little, I made them a crochet basket one year, as one of their Easter gifts. The basket was well loved over the years, but was eventually given away as they got older. I decided to make another crochet basket this year, after a request for the pattern.
To make your own crochet basket, you will need double knit or aran yarn, a 5mm crochet hook, a pair of scissors and a yarn needle. The pattern is suitable for beginners and is written using American terminology. This basket is approximately 5” wide, which makes it the perfect size for stuffing with craft supplies, small toys or sweets to give as a cute gift.
